This was our initial trip to the orphanage in Komsomolsk, Russia. We left on a May Wednesday,
flew approximately two days, rested a day, took the train from Khabarovsk to Komsomolsk,
spent two days at the orphanage, (Whew!) reversed, and arrived home the following Wednesday.
On this trip, the purpose was to spend time with Anastasia and to sign the necessary papers
to declare Anastasia as the child we wish to adopt.

Kudos:
Kathy Boggs and Ruth Neill at Families First, Leo Semenov at tear.org, Wendy Stricklin (Lawrenceville),
Andrei (Moscow), Natalia & her husband Sergei (Khabarovsk), Julia (Khabarovsk), Irina (Khabarovsk),
Natalia (again) & her son Sergei (Komsomolsk), Olga Byrnes at AIAA,
the good folks we met along the way,
and all of our family and friends.
Additionally, our pets want to thank those kind hearts that went out of their way to tend to them.
